Meet our staff for the 2017-2018 academic year:
Marina Smoske – Editor-in-Chief
Marina is a junior political science major with a geography minor. Deeply involved with the Honors Program, she began contributing to The Paw as a freshman and currently serves as Programming Chair of the Honors Student Congress. She is also a member of the National Residence Hall Honorary and SPAC (Society, Politics, and Conversation). In her spare time, she enjoys travelling and working with young girls through outdoor programming with the Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts. She hopes to someday pursue a career in law or international affairs.
Kasey Andrade – Public Relations Assistant
Kasey is a senior communication studies major with a concentration in strategic communication and minors in management, public relations, and sustainability innovation and outreach. An involved member of the Honors community since her freshmen year, Kasey serves as Secretary of the Honors Student Congress. She has also taken part in study abroad, undergraduate research, and internships. After graduating from BSU, she plans to attend graduate school and pursue a career in public relations with a focus in corporate social responsibility.
Danielle Clark – Communications Assistant
Danielle is a junior health studies major with a concentration in community health. She started working for the Honors Program her freshman year, writing various creative pieces for The Paw. In addition to her work for the Honors Program, she works as a Personal Care Assistant for The Arc of Greater Plymouth and Cerebral Palsy of Massachusetts. In her spare time, she enjoys writing novels, listening to music, and cooking. In the future, she hopes to become a health educator.
Eric DeBenedictis – Marketing Assistant
Eric is a senior management major with a concentration in marketing and minor in communication studies. He started working for the Honors Program his freshman year, managing honors social media accounts and creating flyers for events. In addition to his work for the Honors Program, he is a member of Phi Kappa Theta, Filmmakers Society, and 91.5 WBIM-FM. In his spare time, he enjoys talking to his Google Assistant, watching Netflix, listening to music, spending time with friends, and traveling. After graduating, he hopes to continue to grow in his career in the field of marketing or public relations.
